Stephen Gary Wozniak (Steve Wozniak) is an American Electronics Engineer, inventor, programmer, philanthropist, entrepreneur and mainly famous as co-founder of Apple Computer(Now Apple Inc.) with Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak were famous for their invention of personal computers.

Steve Wozniak was born on August 11, 1950, in San Jose, California, United States of America. In 1968 Steve Wozniak was graduated from Homestead High School. Steve Wozniak got expelled from the University of Colorado Boulder when he was in his first year for sending prank messages to university computers. Later 1971 he got transferred to University of California, Berkeley.

Wozniak invented a calculator when he is working in HP, designed a classic game with a name Pong. Later in the early 1970s, Steve Wozniak invented “blue box” which will allow free long distance calls. Because of his invention “blue box” Wozniak is well known as “Berkeley Blue”.

As Steve Jobs is working in Atari as a technician and as he knows about the circuits, Atari Offered $100 to reduce the no of transistors in a circuit. Steve Jobs made a deal with Steve Wozniak to share it equally. According to Wozniak, Steve Jobs said that Atari gave only $700 instead of the actual pay $5000, Wozniak didn’t know about it till 10 years and said, he would have given the money if he actually needed.

In 1976, Steve Wozniak showed his Apple 1 Design to HP Team, they denied it for several reasons. Steve Jobs Encouraged him and started manufacturing Apple I, Wozniak sold his calculator, Steve Jobs sold his Van and started Apple computers in a garage. Apple computers were officially founded on 1st April 1976. Steve Wozniak alone designed the Operating system, Circuit Board and hardware of Apple I. After Apple I success, Wozniak designed Apple II and it was shipped on June 10, 1997.

In 1980 Apple was well known as the successful Computer company making Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak millionaires. In the same year, Apple III was released and was not a great success as Apple II because of its circuit failure which was designed by Apple’s marketing department.

Steve Wozniak met with a plane accident on February 7, 1981, in that accident himself, his friends and family got injured and got admitted in hospital, he lost his memory of plane crash, his name and inventions when he was in the hospital later he gained his memory and stated Apple II games helped him regain his memory.

After recovering from the plane crash Stephen Gary Wozniak didn’t directly go back to Apple, he invested in 2 US Festivals and lost several million dollars in 1982. Stephen Gary Wozniak then returned to Apple Development expecting no more than a role of an Engineer. Steve Wozniak left Apple permanently in 1985 and founded CL 9 which is a programmable Universal Remote. He later invested in many business and Ventures throughout his career.
